Championship
Our seniors made it three wins from three and qualified for the championship quarter finals following a 2-23 to 1-12 win over Ardara on Sunday afternoon in sunny Towney, goal scorers were Gary Molloy and Paddy McBrearty from the penalty spot, our reserves also qualified for the quarter finals, they drew their match 1-09 to 2-06 with Patrick Gallagher getting the goal. Our seniors travel to Bundoran for the final group match this Sunday with 3pm throw in while the reserves have no match so get the two points as the hosts have no reserve team. The quarter finals take place the weekend of 18/19th September opponents will be known after the final matches are played this Sunday.
Club Meeting
This month’s club meeting takes place on Wednesday 31st at 9pm in The Tea Rooms, Towney.
Ladies
Our senior ladies host Red Hughs on Tuesday 30th in their final group match of the Junior B championship.
Underage
Our Under 13s host Aodh Ruadh in their final league match this Friday. Our Under 17s were beaten by Malin last Friday they travel to St Michaels this Friday for their next match. Well done to our Under 11's provided the half time entertainment at Sundays championship game in Towney. Thanks to Doherty’s XL who provided goodie bags for all the children who took part.
